Nearly 2.500 illegal migrants have been detained in Moscow within the last three days in the course of the operation “Illegal Migrant” that was organized by the migration service of Russia. During the special operation the migration service workers checked various objects where supposedly they could find the foreign citizens: building sites, public markets, hotels and restaurants. On the whole over 1.500 objects have been checked.
      
      As a result, over 2.500 foreign citizens have been detained and fined and will be deported from the country. The majority of the detained citizens are comers from the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
