The Russian Folk Arts and Crafts Foundation (Moscow) has opened the exhibition of glamorous valenki (felt boots), with over a hundred of them of every possible colour and size.
The smallest of the felt boots have been designed as fir tree decorations. All this fanciful abundance is headed by a huge felt boot almost of a man's height.
The exhibition presents a variety of felt boots, dating from the 19th century up to date. Enterprises from various cities of Russia have brought their production to be displayed in Moscow.
The exhibition runs till January 19, admission free.
