Following the successful deal concluded by AvtoVaz and Renault, another Russian car-manufacturer is considering cooperation with a foreign company. GAZ Group headed by Oleg Deripaska is holding talks with Chrysler and General Motors at the moment.
Having failed the deal with AvtoVaz, General Motors switched its attention to GAZ Group.
At the same time Chrysler seeks a partner, probably GAZ Group, to start a joint venture in Russia.
The both companies are prepared to expand their business in Russia, especially in view of growing sales in the RF.
