Russian scientists claim nanotechnologies are able to protect people from electromagnetic radiation of cell phones and air from exhaust gases.
Researchers from “Kurchatovsky Institute” science centre have already used nanomaterials for developing special coatings for cell phones, which absorb electromagnetic radiation; however, these coatings are not yet used in everyday life. Scientists also report about new hydrogen engines, which prevent air from being polluted with exhaust gases and nano-dyes for drawing magnetic characters on securities.
Other interesting projects of Russian research fellows include nano-size hard drives for computers, which are able to carry much more information than current versions of hard drives.
