First All-Year Skating Rink Opens in Moscow

The first in Russia all-year skating rink has opened in Moscow. Its total area exceeds that of a standard football field – 100x60 metres. The usage of Austrian cooling technologies for artificial ice creation lets the rink work all the year round.
      
      During dark hours of the day the skating rink will be lighted with powerful projectors fixed on four masts each 35 metres high. Besides, here it is planned to create a developed infrastructure and services, including skates rent, warm change rooms and cafes. Children under 12 and pensioners will be able to visit the skating ring for free, while other visitors will pay 150 RUB for unlimited skating at the rink.
