Siemens gained access to Russian nuclear reactors

The Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency (Rosatom) and Siemens have signed a cooperation agreement. The German Company intends to participate in construction of atomic facilities in the Russian Federation and abroad. Rosatoms specialists have already examined safety of Siemenss control system at Kalininskaya NPS in Russia and Tyanvan NPS in China.
      One of the top-priority goals is modernization of active power generating units. Besides, within the framework of the agreement the Russian enterprises may receive new technologies from the German party.
