The movie Michail Bulgakov in the Caucasus by the famous film director Georgy Natanson premiered in Moscow.
The film features an important period in the life of the brilliant writer that he spent in the Caucasus (1918 – 1921). The film is based on a great number of archive documents and pictures. Among the remarkable stylistic findings of the film director is the use of artistic illustrations created specially for this movie.
