Double-Decker Trains to Appear in Russia in 2011

As the transport server of Moscow reports, it is planned to launch production of double-decker trains in Russia in 2011 in accordance with the Strategy of railway transport development till 2030.
      
      The document says that by 2015 it is planned to put around 450 double-decker carriages into operation.
      
      Supposedly, the double-decker trains will be used at the most tensed routes that have the maximum passenger traffic, such as Moscow-St. Petersburg, Moscow-North Caucasus, etc.
      
      It is known that trains of this type are highly popular with passengers from Germany, Denmark, Israel, and Luxemburg.
