Monument to Marina Tsvetayeva to Appear in Moscow

The monument to Marina Tsvetayeva will be set up nearby her house-museum in Borisoglebsky Lane. The unveiling of the sculpture will be timed to mark the 115th anniversary since the birth of the great poetess.

The works on installing the monument are planned to have been completed by November 1.

The sculpture has been designed by a group of authors including sculptor Nina Matveyeva, and Honoured Architects of Russia Sergei Buritsky and Alexander Dubovsky.

Their project won the competition held by the RF Ministry of Culture. The monument cast in bronze was financed by the Moscow Culture Department and some sponsors.
