Russian Bloggers to Fight Fraud

Russian users of famous LiveJournal blogging system are trying to paralyze frauds, who sell fake “panacea”. Several hours ago RIA Novosti spotted information posted on one of LJ blogs about a pharmaceutical, curing joint diseases. The advert on the radio said retired persons could buy the drug with discount – “only” 22 thousand rubles – and forget about troubles with health for years.

Said “drug” is an ordinary food supplement, not a pharmaceutical, thus fraud is obvious. Internet users decided to paralyze the firm’s call-centre by permanent dialing of their number, which was posted by the user, whose mother suffered from the fraud.

Famous lawyers claim that those who suffered from this firm can sue it for moral damage and actual damage. However, before sending the case to court the “pharmaceutical” should be sent to expertise for proving the lack of properties attributed to it in the advert.
