The Moscow State University is 250 years old

The Lomonosov Moscow State University, the oldest Russian university and one of the leading educational centres of Russia, will celebrate its 250-th anniversary on January 25. It is an important event not only in the history of higher education in Russian but in world educational society as well. The jubilee has been included in the UNESCO list of memorable dates.
