On September 29 a solemn opening of flower clock took place in the city of Krasnodar in the framework of the city’s 214th jubilee celebration. As the press-service of the city administration reports, now it is the 3rd flower clock in Russia: the other two clocks are functioning in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The flower clock was developed by the landscape architects and engineers of Krasnodar and sponsored by the largest Russian gas company Gazprom. The clock is 10.5 in diameter, and its working mechanism is situated underground.
The Mayor of the city says that such clock was their lingering dream and hopes that the flower clock will soon become a new sightseeing of Krasnodar.
