Venezuela to Build Plant for Russian Trucks Production

Venezuela intends to build a joint plant for manufacturing Russian KAMAZ trucks, according to Venezuelan vice-president Jorge Rodriguez. This became known yesterday, September 18, at a press-conference within the framework of Russia-Venezuela business forum. “We do not want to buy KAMAZ trucks in Russia but instead we would like to build a plant and launch their production on our territory”, Jorge Rodriguez said.
      Vice-president also marked the fact of the current construction of a plant for production of the world-famous Kalashnikov weapons in Venezuela. Besides, Jorge Rodriguez mentioned that the country hoped to build the Transamerican oil pipeline to the south of America with Russian help.
