A peculiar mine drift with original highlighting and the effect of a mine tunnel with an outlet to the ground surface has appeared in the Kemerovo museum reserve Krasnaya Gorka – nothing of the kind had ever existed in Russia before.
The idea of arranging a permanent exposition on this subject in the Kemerovo museum reserve is quite sensible: it amasses all the history of the Kemerovo Mine that turns 100 years old in September.
The reserve-museum Krasnaya Gorka now consists not only of the Mine Museum, but also has an outdoor museum named Gorelaya Gora, which was open in tsarist epoch by Mikhailo Volkov with miners from Altai. There is also a walk route to the monument commemorating miners by the sculptor Ernst Neizvestny.
