Russian Orthodox Church is to build monastery in the middle of Geological Park of Ice Age. The monastery in honor of saint great martyr Georgy will be placed on the bank of the lake Kolpin in Brandenburg bundesland.
      
      Berlin eparchy of Russian Orthodox Church bought the estate near Ukermark in 2006, including a villa and a two-storied building. The land is in the middle of Geological Park of Ice Age.
      
      The monastery of the saint martyr Georgy can become a center for meetings of German Christians and anybody who is interested in Russian orthodox culture.
