Russian Winter in London

The Russian Winter festival will take place on Trafalgar Square (London) on January 14through15, 2005. The initiators of the event are the Russian-British Cultural Association and RIA Novosti.
       The London Mayor Ken Livingstone will open the festival. Various performances and entertainments, as well as a skating rink will be available for all comers. The Trafalgar square will be decorated with birches and ice sculptures and highlighted with views of Russian winter landscapes. Traditional Russian dishes will be at visitors service.
