Fake Times on Russian TV

On Monday evening the state TV-channel Russia in the news program Vesti showed a changed version of the first page of the British newspaper The Times to its viewers.

Having reported about the new claims of Russian prosecutors office to Boris Berezovsky, who lives in London now, the news presenter mentioned an article with criticism of the businessman printed in the Times, Berezovsky is playing us, and its embarrassing".

At the same time the alleged fist page of the Times appeared on the TV- screen. It was absolutely different from that one sold in Britain on Monday.

Its not the first case the main Russian TV channels invent something of the kind. Last time it concerned the Litvinenko case. June, 19, channel Russia and the First channel reported contradictive facts.
