Atomenergomash and Alstom to set up Joint Venture

The Russian government nuclear power corporation Atomenergomash and French Alstom are going to sign a memorandum of association to form a joint venture in the RF for manufacturing low-speed turbines for nuclear power stations, the press secretary of Alstom office in Russia reported.
      
      In the beginning of April Russian and French companies signed an agreement to set up a joint venture in the RF to produce equipment for NPPs. The Russian share in the project will make up 51%. The joint venture will operate on the basis of ZiO-Podolsk engineering plant in Russia.
