Weather specialists predict the current high temperatures in Moscow to decrease by 1 June. It is expected that the day heat will fall from 35 to 25 degrees. However, at the moment weather forecasters cannot say beforehand whether hurricane winds will take place along with the temperature fall: it depends on rapidity of the temperature decrease and can be forecasted only several hours prior to the atmospheric phenomenon.
Rapid temperature falls have caused hurricane winds in the capital of Russia more than once. The most memorable example is the hurricane in Moscow in 1998.
For the nearest 2 days hot weather with temperatures around 30 degrees will remain in Moscow. Moreover, even at night it will not be possible to escape from the heat, as the column of mercury in thermometers is unlikely to fall lower than 22 degrees.
