Authorities of the Krasnodar Region intend to intensively develop ecological tourism. At the same time archaeological tourism is another direction that may cause interest in guests of the region. In the framework of the project it is planned to create archaeological parks where every tourist can participate in diggings, and found exemplars will be exhibited in museums.
      The Krasnodar Region is an ancient land. Favourable nature conditions and mild climate were amongst the main reasons why the first human settlements in the area appeared very early. The settlements found here let researchers trace almost all archaeological epochs. This is why the ancient history of the region can be used for tourist purposes.
