Scientists from the Institute of General Genetics suggest applying genome registration to persons on criminal records.
Russian criminal statistics claims that up to 80% of serious crimes are commited by same people repeatedly. Genome registration is already in use in some countries, for military men, for instance. In case of emergancy experts will chenk genome registration and draw an appropriate conclusion.
Several Russian cities issue genetic passports for those, contracting a marriage. Such document contains 2-3 dozens genes.
