Russian Railways to launch rail communication Moscow-Paris

The company Russian Railways is considering a possibility of launching passenger rail communication Moscow-Paris, as the head of the passenger transportations of Russian Railways reports. At first the company wants to launch only one coach so that it at least could be possible to use railway transport in this direction. The trailer coach will arrive to Berlin and there it will be redirected to Paris; it will take around 40 hours to get to Paris from Moscow. The company is already holding negotiations with Germany and France.
At the present moment Russian Railways carry out transportations in such passenger railway directions as from Moscow to Belgrade, Berlin, Budapest, Bratislava, Frankfurt am Main, Bucharest, Zagreb, Prague, Sofia, and a number of some other cities.

Alex :
That's really a nice idea! But for me travelling by train is too exhausting sometimes. I prefer travelling by air. By the way how much are the tickets?
