Actors` voices sound in Moscow Metro

For the nearest two weeks Metro in Moscow will sound with voices of well-known Russian actors and actresses. Lyudmila Gurchenko will be the first one to “work” underground as an announcer. Later such actors as Vera Alentova, Vladimir Menshov, Constantine Raikin, and many other famous actors will not only pronounce the names of Metro stations, but also give messages about interchange stations and notify passengers about train doors closing. This interesting tradition is only 2 years old: it appeared during the celebration of the 70th jubilee of the 1st Metro line opening.
