In the summer period an excursion train “Baikal Cruise” will run on the eastern-Siberian railway on the route Irkutsk – Baikal Port – Irkutsk. A trip on the excursion train will take two days with long-lasting stops. The ticket’s price includes excursion services and meals for passengers travelling in compartments and in first-class saloons.
      The tourist train is expected to be popular June-October. The profits got from comfortable carriages in 2006 were 4.4 million roubles. If all places of the new excursion train will be fully occupied by passengers during the summer period 2007 the profit is likely to reach 4.7 million roubles.
