Several large companies dealing with people transportation have decided to develop a unified standard of drivers training. The first in the city taxi drivers` school has recently opened in St. Petersburg. A special programme of the school is scheduled for 40 hours and includes technical elements, the main principles of working with customers, knowledge of the city scheme, and the rules of taximeters` exploitation; the training is for people with a driving license. Besides, drivers will also be taught the basic skills of conflict management, in particular, they will learn that when a customer is in the car it is not advised to listen to radio stations with “Russian chanson” repertory.
