South-African Sun International Corporation has applied for a long-term lease of 2 of 3 hectares of the special gambling zone located on the boarder of the Krasnodar Region and the Rostov Region in Russia. In case the project is implemented, the casino Sun will become the biggest in Russia, reports the Vedomosti newspaper.
      The volume of investments hasn’t been uncovered yet, however, it’s considered to be about 2.5bn dollars, and the state is going to spend over 500 million on infrastructure development: airport, roads, railway, gas pipeline and electric power line.
      Sun International is a South-African group of companies managing a network of hotels, casinos and amusements parks in Africa.
