International Antiracist Film Festival Starts in St. Petersburg

The International Film Festival against Racism and Xenophobia OPEN YOUR EYES! started yesterday in St. Petersburg.
      
      The event is being held as an independent social forum. Till March 25 the public will be offered a series of free demonstrations of Russian and European films dwelling on the problems of racism and xenophobia. These issues will be discussed with well-known researchers, human rights defenders, journalists, film directors, municipal authorities, and initiators and participants of particular projects for fighting xenophobia in Russia and Europe.
      The discussions will be based on films by directors from Russia, Great Britain, Germany, and Sweden.
      Admission free.
