In the framework of realization of the programme “Tourism development in the Nizhniy Novgorod Region 2002-2006” the Ministry of support and development of small enterprises in the Nizhniy Novgorod Region has opened a website www.tourismnn.ru (Russian, English, and German versions) devoted to the tourism potential of the area.
      The website broadly covers the main tourist centres and routes, places of interest and the infrastructure; besides, it represents information about various types of tourism: educational, cruise, recreational, adventure, ecological, business, eventual, and religious.
      The website also contains regulatory acts and information about investment projects and international tourism exhibitions where it is planned to organize the united stand of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region.
