The severe storm that took lives of 34 people in European countries came to Russia in a weakened form, although at the moment winds flaws reach 20-25 metres per second force in some of the Russian regions.
Notwithstanding the weakened form of the storm, yesterday’s evening strong winds reached Tver and St. Petersburg. Winds are expected to loosen by Saturday morning, at that the process is expected to be accompanied by inconsiderable temperature fall.
However, Moscow and St. Petersburg are forecasted to stay under the cyclone’s influence for a while. Wind speed in St. Petersburg will reach 15-17 metres per second, in Moscow – 12 metres per second.
