The idea to create a “pushkinized” tavern in the favourite leisure place of the poet appeared quite a long time ago, but the financial means for the idea`s embodiment were found only now. According to the national park-museum`s owners, one can perceive the atmosphere of the Pushkin’s times only when tastes the dishes popular in that epoch.
The approximate list of the favourite Pushkin’s dishes is already known and includes baked potatoes, Russian cabbage soup, green soup with hard boiled eggs, minced chops with spinach and sorrel, and much other food. Drinks will include light French wines and champagne, black coffee, red bilberry water, cranberry fruit-infusion, and cold clotted milk.
