35 year old Vadim Stasovsky turned out to be the 5 millionth passenger of Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg. He was flying from St. Petersburg to Munich via Russia Airlines. The destination point of the 5 millionth passenger is Mavrik Island, where the man and his family are going to spend New Year holidays time.
The number of passengers in Pulkovo airport has increased twice as compared to 2.6 million passengers in 2000. In 2010 the airport is planning to award their 7 millionth passenger, and in 2015, according to prognosis, the passenger channel is expected to exceed 10 millions.
