Authors of almost 100 original projects in the sphere of art and culture have an opportunity to implement their ideas. Among those who have got presidential grants are scientists, art restorers and museum experts. One of the projects suggests the idea of creating an electronic archive of the heritage of the legendary Russian poet and singer Bulat Okudjava.
It is the first attempt to systematize his enormous and priceless heritage. “The records are of very bad quality, - tells the poet’s widow and the head of Okudjava Foundation Olga Artsymovich, - they should be restored and adjusted. The matter is he never recorded in sound studios".
Hundreds of concert records, including video records of his performances are scattered all over the world now. They are in the hands of private owners in Poland, Israel, France and the USA. Luckily, most of the records have been collected and kept in the poet’s foundation in Moscow. However most rarities are still on old record media deteriorating with age.
These are not only songs and verses to form the web archive. It will also include a great number of photos, correspondence and autographs of the poet. It will take more than half a year to systematize the heritage of Bulat Okudjava, that is 200 famous songs and a thousand of poems.
