The Russian premiere of the rock musical We Will Rock You took place in Theater Estrady (Variety Theater) yesterday.
       As the stage director Dmitry Astrakhan explains, the spectacle represents a fantastic story about the future, when all people wear the same cloths and listen to the same music, produced by computers… as there are no music instruments left.
       The producer of the musical Sergey Baranov promised the musical would be performed for a fortnight every month.
       The performance is set to the music of Queen. However, only three songs are in English.
       The premiere was celebrated with a Kremlin banquet with participation of Bryan May and Roger Taylor. The legendary Queen members were accompanied by the Russian rock musician Zemfira Ramazanova, who had accepted the tempting proposal to sing a number of Queen’s hits.
