To celebrate the 200th jubilee since the birthday of renowned artist Alexandr Ivanov (1806-1858) the Russian Culture Centre in Rome is holding a series of lectures, concerts and soirees these days.
      
      Admirers of the artist’s talent visited the former studio of Ivanov in Via Del Vantajo Street, where the master had been working on his famous masterpiece "The Appearance of Christ to the People".
      
      A spiritual music concert dedicated to Alexandr Ivanov was held on Saturday at the ancient Roman Cathedral of Saint Mark the Evangelist located on Venice Square.
