The head of the Ministry of foreign affairs Sergey Lavrov has reported today, November 2, that Moscow intends to insist on negotiations with Teheran to solve the Iranian nuclear problem. At the same time he negatively appraises the resolution project composed by Britain, Germany and France, the countries which approve tough sanctions against Teheran in case of refusal to follow the claims of the international community.
Sergey Lavrov underlines that the project made by the three countries is far beyond the bounds of the agreement ordaining to verify that all measures undertaken against Iran are proportional to real threat Iranian nuclear program may pose. "We cannot support the measures aimed at isolation of Iran from the world, including isolation of people whose function is to hold negotiations over the nuclear problem", he marked.
Meanwhile, the US side expresses hope that the new tough resolution against Iran will be accepted and will come into force.
