A unique concert entitled «Ten Views on Ten Commandments” will be premiered on October, 8 in Chaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow. This was reported by the initiator of the project Mr. Andrey Ustinov, the senior editor of the Muzykalnoe Obozrenie (Music Survey) newspaper.
“The uniqueness of this concert is in the fact that it was created by ten composers, proposed by our newspaper as the best composers of the year’, - Mr. Ustinov said. Among them are such well-known composers as Andrey Eshpai, Alexander Chaikovski and Rustam Sabitof.
The concert consists of ten fragments two minutes long , “each of them conveying not only the features of a composer’s style, but his credo as well”, said Mr. Ustinov.
During three months the concert will be performed by 18 orchestras. The premiere of the concert already took place in Kemerovo and Barnaul.
In Moscow and St.-Petersburg the concert will be performed by the Academic Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Philharmonic.
