St.-Petersburg is commemorating the 190th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian poet Michail Yuryevich Lermontov. There are lots of places in the city associated with the life and creation of the classic. All of them will be included in the excursion entitled Lermontov’s St.-Petersburg.
       The Central library named for Lermontov in Liteyniy Avenue will become the center of the jubilee week. There will be held a round table with participation of men of letters, critics and descendants of the family of the Lermontovs. For the whole week film versions of Lermontov’s literary works will be on.
