The works of the great modernists Egon Schiele, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Gustav Klimt and Alphonse
Mucha are kept in museums and private collections around the world. The exhibition of digital art
reproductions, which are indistinguishable from the original, enables you to see iconic works of the four
great artists in one place.
In the MIIT Palace of Culture, visitors can see digital reproductions of paintings by four great Art
Nouveau artists - Gustav Klimt, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Alphonse Mucha and Egon Schiele. The
replicas are made in the giclee technique, which makes it possible to recreate paintings with all their
minute details up to the texture of the brush stroke, color features, craquelures and even the tiniest
things such as hairs fallen out of the brush. In short, digital reproduction is not an imitation, but a
facsimile replica of the original.
Visitors will plunge into the decorative world of Klimt, look at the cheerful and vicious Paris of the Belle
Epoque through the eyes of Toulouse-Lautrec, admire the red-haired beauties of Mucha, and feel the
special aesthetics of Schiele's graphic artworks, in which love coexists with suffering. Paintings, drawings
and posters are accompanied with descriptions of the subjects depicted.
