14 Films Compete to Represent Russia for Oscar

Russian Oscar committee has announced the list of fourteen films that can be nominated for the Oscar award in the category "The best film in a foreign language". The long-list includes all the noted film projects of the year, from The 9th Company by Fyodor Bondarchuk to The Island by Pavel Lungin.
      
      The long-list of the films competing for the Russian nomination is as follows:
