The Gamaleya Center has applied for emergency approval for the use of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in the Philippines, the country's Food and Drug Administration said. The documents were accepted on January 7.
“The application has passed a preliminary check. The applicant was instructed to provide the missing documents,” the website of the regulator quotes the words of the general director of the department Eric Domingo. He noted that similar applications previously filed by Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna are still pending.
