The Moscow authorities donated drugs to St. Petersburg for the treatment of patients with COVID-19, according to the St. Petersburg administration. The heads of the two cities, Alexander Beglov and Sergei Sobyanin, agreed on this earlier.
“More than 15 thousand packages of antibiotics, 11 thousand packages of antiviral drugs and 5 thousand packages of anti-inflammatory drugs have been received. The medicines were delivered to the hospital named after S. P. Botkin,” the message of the St. Petersburg administration on Vkontakte says. The vice-governor of St. Petersburg, Oleg Ergashev, said that the city's hospitals have "the required amount of drugs and personal protective equipment," and the drugs transferred by Moscow will create an "additional reserve." The delivery of PPE and medical equipment for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 is also expected.
