At the end of 2019, the Ceramics Museum celebrated its centenary. The museum's exhibition fund originated from the collection of the famous Moscow collector Alexei Morozov. Over the following years, it was supplemented from private collections, which were expropriated by the state, and later with samples from factories and exhibitions. The museum also had its own production laboratory, where ceramic and glass items were made.
The photographs are supplied with informative articles telling about the objects' history, authors, creation and features. Some of them have participated in international exhibitions, others reflect the trends of an entire epoch. Interesting are sketches for decorative plates as well, tracing the change in subject matter during revolutionary times.
Nowadays the collection has been expanding with products purchased by the Department of Culture and donated by masters of glass and ceramics.
