Two federal agencies - for communications (Rossvyaz) and for press and mass communications (Rospechat) - will be liquidated, according to sources in the government agencies.

One of the sources reports that the powers of the departments will be transferred to a higher department - the Ministry of Digital Security. Earlier, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Alexander Khinshtein, informed Izvestia that the government was considering the possibility of optimizing the Ministry of Digital Industry at the expense of the federal agencies under its jurisdiction. He noted that this is due to the optimization of the public administration system announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
