A large-scale bike ecotrail will be built in the "green" zones of the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters by 2024.

      Old mountain routes will be recreated, the resort and sports infrastructure will be  modernized. It will pass through picturesque places with beautiful views of the resorts and   mountains. It is planned to create 45 viewing platforms for the eco-trail, so that tourists and vacationers could take unique photos.

      In addition, the cycling course will include recreational areas, event and sports activities, including cafes, drinking rooms, sports equipment and bicycle rentals. The modern sports infrastructure will allow holding international competitions here.

       The project will be financed within the framework of the state program for the development of the North Caucasus Federal District. In 2021-2023, it is planned to spend about 3 billion rubles on it.

      The cycle terrenkur will connect the sights of Lermontov, Zheleznovodsk and the Mineralovodsk urban district, and unite five mountains: Beshtau, Zheleznaya, Razvalka, Zmeika and Mashuk. The project includes the construction of a new highway for 54 km and 41 stops with infrastructure and tourism "Smart City". The total length of the road will be 75 km. Measures for the development of resorts and tourism are held in the Stavropol Territory within the framework of the regional state program "Tourist and Recreational Complex".
