On September 22 the International Puppet Festival is starting in Moscow. Dozens of theatres from different cities and towns of Russia and other countries are coming to participate in it. The performances will take place in the Obraztsov Puppet Theatre on September 22-29.
      Some days ago the troupe of the Obraztsov Puppet Theatre went to Ireland with their best shows. This program, which is called The best of Obraztsov., is always received with a bang. But after coming back there wiil be no time for them to relax as the International Puppet Festival is opening next Friday.
      Some years ago only debutants were permitted to take part in the contest as the organizers wanted them to introduce the audience to their Art. However, after the first performance they were eager to try again and nobody could refuse them.
      The main premiere of the festival is told to be a new production of “Winnie known as the “Pooh”.
