Two routes of helicopter tours have become available for visitors of the Rosa Khutor mountain resort in Sochi since October.
Rosa Khutor together with the "Heli-Grant" company opened the "Helicopter Center", which offers air travel by helicopter Bell-407 in the Krasnodar Territory. Regular tourist routes have become available since October.
The program of helicopter routes includes sightseeing flight over the territory of the Sochi National Park, as well as flights between the resort and points of the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Adygea and Kabardino-Balkaria.
Currently, guests are offered two main routes. "Panoramic" is a 15-minute flight over the sites of the 2014 Olympics, Mount Krasnaya Skala, one of the peaks of the Aibga massif (2450 m), Mount Agepsta (3256 m), Mount Kamenny pillar (2509 m) and the ridge "Turyi Gory". And the half-hour route "Obzorny" allows you seeing not only mountain landscapes, but also the Black Sea. It involves a flight to the coast to the Kudepsta region through the Old Krasnopolyanskaya road, as well as a view from the height of the longest suspended pedestrian bridge in Russia Skypark AJ Hacket Sochi and the territory of the trout farm.
Flights for tourists will be completely safe.
The Bell-407 helicopter is a very reliable machine. In addition to the pilot, it can accommodate up to five passengers.
Now the resort has one helipad for organizing flights. Rosa Khutor's further plans include opening several more sites and developing a network of routes.
