The Leningrad Region will develop tourist destinations associated with Alexander Nevsky and Peter I.
One of the tourist spots will be a park with a chapel of Alexander Nevsky in the Tosno region near the Sablinskie caves. One more route point will appear in Staraya Ladoga. This is the place where the sword of Alexander Nevsky was consecrated.
The route dedicated to Peter the Great will be on water and last two days. It will include Shlisselburg, Novaya Ladoga, Mandrogi and Lodeinoe Pole.
The project will be included in the federal program.
According to the press service of the government of the Leningrad region, work on the creation of routes will begin in 2021.
