The state online aggregator of information on housing renting in Russia is planned to be launched in 2021, Deputy Minister of Construction Nikita Stasishin told RIA Nedvizhimost in an interview. According to him, the aggregator will have options for paying taxes and utility bills. In addition, a temporary registration can be made through the platform.
Mr. Stasishin noted that "any ad aggregators and brokers" will be able to post information on the platform and that the project "has no goal of creating a single player in the country." “Everyone will work the way they did, but honestly and in white, without incomprehensible contracts, with guaranteed quality of services, without creating any marginal things,” said Nikita Stasishin.
The launch of the online platform will require the adoption of a new federal law. Now the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and JSC Dom.RF are working on it. The creation of an aggregator will not require budgetary costs; Dom.RF will invest in the creation of the service.
On August 20, Vitaly Mutko, General Director of Dom.RF, spoke about the work on an online platform that consolidates information about the rental housing market, but then he did not name the timing of its launch and the detailed mechanism of operation. He said then that the online platform will be saturated with various convenient services for users, and thus, the aggregator will contribute to the formation of a civilized rental housing market in the country.
