The "Transfiguration" art festival starts in Yaroslavl.  The Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve will be the only festival site this year.

Bell concerts will be performed daily for guests: at 12:00 and 17:00 bell-ringers from Yaroslavl and Ivanovo, Kostroma and Vologda, Moscow and St. Petersburg will delight the festival participants with their art.

In addition, on one of the days of the festivals, a presentation of the Yaroslavl school of bell ringing under the direction of Vladimir Degtyarev is planned. Guests will also enjoy other musical concerts and a promenade performance with the participation of actors from the Fyodor Volkov Drama Theater.

The promenade performance will immerse the participants in the atmosphere of the First World War and acquaint them with rare museum documents from the collection of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve.

In connection with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, the number of spectators at the festival will be limited. For the same reason, events will be held only in the museum-reserve - earlier the festival was also hosted by the Philharmonic Society and Yaroslavl churches.
