Since the opening of non-food stores in Moscow, attendance at shopping centers has decreased by 43% compared with the same period last year, according to Vedomosti. These data were shared by the president of the consulting company Watcom Roman Skorokhodov. In the period from June 1 to 7, the most successful day was Saturday, June 6, when traffic decreased by only 36.8% compared to last year. On Tuesday, June 2, attendance fell immediately by 46.6% - it was the worst day in the reporting period.

According to Skorokhodv, given the crisis and restrictions, such a fall is a good result. He is sure that the attendance of shopping centers will increase after catering establishments and entertainment zones open - they generate about 30% of the traffic.
